Guide · For agencies
Embed the GEO widget in WordPress.
Offer an AI visibility check on your agency website: configure your branding, add the embed code and check the flow through to the report.
01 · Prepare your agency account
Choose your branding and target page.
The GEO widget offers prospects an AI visibility check on your website. You need an enabled Transparion agency account and editing access to the WordPress page.
- 01 · Configure the widget
- Open the widget area in your agency account. Set your agency name, logo, colours, copy, privacy notice link and booking option.
- 02 · Approve the domain
- Add the domain where the widget will appear. Check any separate preview or staging domain as well. Enable the widget and save your settings; the embed code is then available.
- 03 · Give the check context
- For example, choose your GEO service page. Above the widget, briefly explain what the check examines and how your agency helps with the next steps. Add the heading and introduction as content on your WordPress page.
02 · Add the code in WordPress
Add the embed code once.
Use the complete code from your agency account. It contains your widget ID and loads the form with automatic height adjustment.
- 04 · Add a Custom HTML block
- Edit the target page in WordPress. Add a Custom HTML block at the desired position and paste the complete embed code from your agency account into it.
- 05 · Keep the code unchanged
- Add the code exactly once. Do not change the script address or widget ID, and do not combine it with a second iframe embed. If you use a page builder, use its embedded HTML element.
- 06 · Open the saved page
- Save the page and check the actual page outside the editor. External scripts do not run in every editor preview. If WordPress removes the code when saving, check editing permissions and your hosting requirements.
03 · Check appearance and flow
Check the journey from form to report.
An embedded form is the starting point. Also check that prospects receive their report and your agency can follow up on the enquiry.
- Mobile view and branding
- Open the page on a smartphone and desktop. Check the logo, colours, readable text and the complete form. The standard embed code adjusts the height to the content.
- One controlled test enquiry
- Submit a test enquiry through the configured widget using your own email address. Check delivery, the report link and the entry in your agency account. This test runs a real widget scan; take your agreed usage scope into account.
- Booking option and follow-up
- Open the configured booking link and check that it leads to the right destination. Decide who handles new enquiries. A click on the booking link is not a confirmed appointment.
Installation questions
If something is not working yet.
WordPress permissions and hosting can differ. The official documentation explains the requirements.
Do I need a dedicated WordPress plugin?
The standard installation uses the embed code provided by Transparion. Your website must allow its external scripts and embedded form. Available code insertion options depend on WordPress, your permissions and hosting.
What about WordPress.com?
On WordPress.com, support for JavaScript and iframes depends on your plan and site configuration. Check the current provider documentation before adding the code.
Why is the widget blank?
First check that the widget is enabled and saved and that the current domain is approved. Then check that the complete code was saved. A Content Security Policy, consent manager or browser blocker may hold back external content; your website administrator can investigate the cause.
What happens after an enquiry?
Open the result in your agency account and prepare a relevant conversation. For deeper investigation, configure a separate Pro analysis and export selected report chapters as a PDF or editable PowerPoint pitch deck.
